How do you tell the difference between a friend and a foe? How about between someone under the imperious curse and someone's who's not? The answer: you can't.
1976 - quite literally the dawning of a new era. Tom Marvolo Riddle, more commonly known as Lord Voldemort, has eyes and ears everywhere, and it is almost impossible to tell one side from another. Students, professors, even family members can no longer be trusted, and the world is in complete chaos. Muggle borns are being tortured, pure-bloods are at the height of their power, and fear is a dish that is being served with every meal. There is no telling when the next strike is going to occur, and one can never be too safe.
Admist all the terror, life must conintue on. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is still open to students, and the Maraunders are running the school in their 6th year.
Come and join us as fear clashes with the need to survive. Where a new age is breaking out. Where it is up to you to decide the fate of the world.

dark, musty, and located at the heart of the castle, the dungeons are preferred by few. down in the dark reaches of the basement, you can find both the Hufflepuff and the Slytherin common rooms. Potions classes are located here as well.
the ground floor (also known as the first floor) is home to the lovely great hall, where all the events happen, and also home to the library. the library can be reached by a hallway thats adjoining to the one at leads to the great hall.
the second floor is a much friendlier place than the dungeon, and much less formal than the ground floor. here you can find all sorts of interesting places such as moaning mytle's bathroom, and a myriad of empty classrooms.
one of the least visited floors, the third floor houses only a few things. a classroom, a few bathrooms, and a secret corridor. most students are terrified of whatever lays beyond that wooden door.
another floor that doesn't see much use is the fourth floor. there's a handful of painings on the walls, and a couple of cute little tapestries hanging on the walls. could one of them conceal a staircase?
the fifth floor is not that used. there is only a prefect bathroom (open only to prefects) and a long stretch of empty hallway that leads to the defense against the dark arts classroom. most students wouldn't pick the fifth floor as a place to hang out, so it's empty most of the time.
there is a picture of a fat lady at the very top of the staircase that leads to the sixth floor. yes, that's the gryffindor common room. the fat lady always asks for a password before allowing the students to enter, that way she can keep out all the students that aren't in gryffindor.
if you haven't died from walking up so many stairs, you have reached the last floor. there are a few towers that can only be reached from the floor below, as there are a few towers that can only be reached from the seventh floor. the ravenclaw common room is one of these, located to the farthest west inside the building.
hogwarts is famous for it's grounds. from sweeping lawns, to a sparkling lake, the groundskeeper keeps everything in perfect order. the gardens look lovely all times a year, and the willow tree that was planted six years ago seems to grow more magnificent every day. the forest, a dark place, is as alluring as it is repelling.
where would a hogwarts student go to get all their much-needed school supplies? diagon alley, of course. you can find so many things beyond that seemingly innocent brick wall. just tap the right bricks with your wand, and enter into the diagon alley.
the students of hogwarts have to have somwhere to go on the weekends. hogsmeade is that place. stocked with many different shops and interesting places. even though there aren't quite as many shops as in diagon alley, people still manage to find what they need.
this board isn't too specific. it's basically for all other boards that didn't seem to fit anywhere else. if you think of one that you want here, please pm and admin and we'll help you out by adding it.
